The Dream Team became an expression after the performance of the US Basketball Team in the Summer Olympics of 1992. This team featured the likes of Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and Charles Barkley just to name a few of the legends on this team. Never before in history had a sports team dominated in such an incontestable performance. Maybe you will not be able to hire a Michael Jordan or a Larry Bird, but for sure you have to have your “dream advisory team” A CPA, a lawyer, and a finance advisor.

It does not matter if you want to sell your business or not, the correct tax planning, legal advice, and capital structure can make the difference about your financial health. Indeed, it does not help you sell your company for a very good price if a considerable amount of the proceeds are paid in taxes. A contract that is not airtight can cause you headaches like you cannot even imagine. It can sound cliché, but not having a “dream advisory team” can create a nightmare in your life.
